Fighters Against Child Abuse Australia's (FACAA) Mission statement is very simple.

FACAA are here to end child abuse in Australia once and for all. We will do this by healing one survivor at a time, changing one law at a time, and raising awareness of child abuse one person at a time.

FACAA was founded July 20th 2010, and have been running full steam ever since.

David Lindsay has been with FACAA literally since our inception. Thinking back it was during one of my sessions with David (while trying to desperately distract him from his torturous workout he was inflicting on me) that I had the idea for FACAA's first program to which he replied with "That's truly awesome!! Do it Adam, get it everywhere..... Now stop telling me great ideas and give me another 10 over the ball push ups, and don't even think of stopping half way." So to say David has been with us since the very start is no exaggeration.

During our first few days David was integral in keeping me focused on the bigger picture. His infectious positivity and drive kept me going despite the challenges of establishing the charity, and he has been with us ever since. He is considered the FACAA PT and gives regular videos to the members of FACAA and interacts with them with his usual, no excuses, tonnes of positive comments. While people notice David's physique and amazing attitude, it is his integrity that truly inspires me. He treats everyone exactly the same, from those hard on their luck who have turned to illicit substances to self-medicate, all the way to politicians and high profile athletes. They are all the same to David, and that no nonsense integrity above all else is truly refreshing in todays PC society where everyone is busy worrying about what someone is, all David cares about is who they are.

David is an incredible asset to us here at FACAA, a great father and husband, incredible coach, fantastic student and a good mate to all the members of FACAA.

We are very proud to call David one of our ambassadors and I personally take great pride in calling him a friend.
